Does a cherry danish count? Come to think about it I never noticed hmm🤔
Very friendly staff. Chill atmosphere. Can stay for a while and not be chased out. Nice place to read a book or catch up with friends.
Always a fine experience at La Colombe. This branch is convenient to Center City east, Society Hill and Old City. A favorite hangout for local journos. Enjoyable place to drink coffee and people watch. You can sit outside in warm weather.
La Colombe is an excellent cafe. They’re draft coffee is easily the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is busy but friendly. Service is fast. The whole beans are excellent. It’s not hard to imagine this cafe chain to continue to spread and become more prevalent as long as the quality stays at this high a level. For the specific location: outdoor and indoor seating offer great views. The staff are excellent. Would recommend to any coffee lover.
La colombe has the best coffee in the city. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The space is very cozy and welcoming. I only wish they would open one closer to Northern Liberties.
Great service. Great coffee
The latte I had here changed my life for the better. 10/10 do recommend.
Great staff, they definitely steer you towards the best menu items to get. The coffee (single origin African) was great, and the scone and strawberry baked thing with sugar was fantastic. Plus it's in a great location next to monuments and just as importantly, a bier garden.
La Colombe is wonderful coffee and a super efficient staff! The atmosphere is great and I love the outdoor seating area. I ordered an iced americano and was very pleased at the body of espresso I was presented with.
Stopped in at 8am on a Friday. Wanting coffee, and a place to kill a few hours, I tried La Colombe. I was welcomed by the friendly staff at the counter, and quickly given a cup of coffee to go with the beans I purchased. I sat there for 3 hours, reading books, watching the variety of people coming in, and enjoying the music they had playing. When I went up for a second serving of coffee, the barrista was very kind and told me about how I could get a discount with a receipt from earlier.. Only I didn't have the receipt. She was gracious and still gave the discount. Overall, I had a great experience. The place was a nice respite from the snow, had good coffee, had good music, and the staff was very helpful.
Nice location and natural environment. Friendly staff. Lovely croissant collection.
I've been to a couple coffee places here in Philly and this continues to top my list. The coffee is great and the seating and atmosphere has a smart-casual feel. It is located near the Liberty Bell and Bourse Market. If you're into the coffee scene and are in Philly, definitely make a stop here.
I work right above here, so come a lot, but, while consistently good service, I've never been prompted to give a 5 star review till today. I don't know the employees' name but the guy with the ponytail is the man. He was Multi-tasking like a pro and made sure the other employee was on top my cappuccino twice while ringing up people managing the flow of customers. Did it all whole people friendly as can be and quite personable. Ponytail guy is my guy.
Great quality coffee, $1 refills, very spacious with tall ceilings, friendly staff. Recommend.
Service was good. Clean and spacious.
One of my favorite lacolmbe location, airy, spacious, mid century feel, employees are down to earth, none of the pretentious snobbery, excellent cortado...
Great coffee and a great atmosphere to have a chat, relax, or get some work done.
I got a latte once from here and it was so strong I left shaking. It has very strong coffee be warned.
This place has a bit of a weird vibe for me. The cafe is in a huge open space with very high ceilings , lots of light from the windows which is nice.I didn't notice much of a food selection, the ham and butter sandwich I had was pretty good. I also had a green tea which was nice, but way too much tea stuffed into the bag relative to the size of the mug. It would gave been really bitter if I had left it in for the amount of time the barista recommended.
It was our first time in Pennsylvania and this was the best coffee place we want to because the tea was amazing 💕 loved it
The ONLY issue with this location is how hard it is to open the door. Seriously, it's EXTREMELY heavy. Pretty sure that goes against some ADA regulation
Cold 👏 brew 👏 was 👏 good 👉👌
Delicious, local, coffee and other caffeinated brews. The Draft Latte is easily the most popular drink here - it's a very creamy iced latte, poured from a draft (get it?). It tastes like melted coffee ice cream. I work in this building, and often come down here with coworkers for a coffee break. Coming with others and don't want to buy something? There's a tap in the back with both regular and soda/seltzer water, as well as plastic cups.Oh, and the baked goods are great too, if you're hungry.
We looked for a place to rest at the end of our trip while waiting for our mega bus. This was perfect. All we wanted at the end of it all was a couple of cups of hot water. We got them in precious little cups and saucers that made us feel like we were already home. Extra points for the bathroom door looking like a part of the wall.
Caprese and espresso shot will hit the spot 😉
I love all La Colombe places! And this one is great too! ☕
A Philadelphia institution...coffee lovers flock to this place for what is a tremendous cup of coffee. Also take notice at how well the staff works together....we need more of this in the world.
A wonderful cup of coffee - visiting the liberty bell and exploring and we fancied a coffee! Fantastic stop with plenty of options for coffee and other drinks. The staff were knowledgeable and they knew which ones were single origins and even tasting notes. Would highly recommend for a decent cup of espresso/coffee in Downtown PA.Another nice thing - they are all over PA, even in the airport, if you’re trying to get a good coffee, we went to a few!
Was only in Philadelphia for one day, so came here twice! Candice was awesome. ❤ loved the oatmilk draft, iced latte, and CHOCCY MILK (per baby yoda) lol
Enjoyed their Nitro coffee. Really tasty.
Superb place to go with your friends and family. the ambiance was nice . The food was yummy and nice presentation. If i talk about the staff was also very friendly and hardworking. Overall nice place
Love this place. They're not exclusive to Philly, but they are top-notch quality across the board. This location in particular is in a beautiful building and they do have outdoor seating. If you have never been to a La Colombe, I highly recommend getting a draft latte. It's so good that you will probably want to take a few of their canned variants home.If you're in the area, don't skip this place.
It's the best cafe in Philly! I love their Nizza espresso so much!! Most importantly, the staff are so cool and kind-hearted. I left my bag there with passport inside, but they took good care of it until I went back to take it the next day!!! I can say it was my best memory in Philly ❤️
I like La Colombe Coffee it's nice and awakening, the building and ambiance is conducive to school, business or personal projects! Now; Corsica is on tap and I liked that brown bottle it was much room for conversation...
Super cool location ☺..•:**:•.great atmosphere. For a coffee break.☕
La Colombe convenient located in front of the Megabus Dropoff location at Independence Hall Visitor Center. The standard fair you’d expect from a La Colombe with local pastries. Has a bathroom. I wish they had WiFi...but the chain usually doesn’t :/
Very cool location with beach chair type outside seating besides regular small tables.
Great coffee and pastries. This Old City location is right next to Independence Hall and the Megabus stop for new York
This place has the best coffee. Most places make an ugly machiatto. This place rocks. They made it exactly how I expected it.
Great coffee, hot chocolate and fresh pastries. It is pricey but totally worth it.
Great cafe and way better then Starbucks. They are more eco friendly and have a better selection for hand crafted beverages. Feels more personal and less rushed then stsrbucks. They also sell the cans as well but have all if not more variety then stores
Very smooth oat lattee
Rude staff. Would not allow my parents who are older to be seated. I fully understand some tables for standing. Please allow exceptions for older people.
I loved the place so much kidda unique and it is so open. Good coffee.
1st time I have ever been here at any La Colombe location. I loved it. Place was immaculate. Service was excellent- especially so for a morning crush. Price was reasonable for coffee unlike a certain competitor from Seattle and in the words of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper "Damn Good Coffee!" Go here folks. Thank me later
Best coffee ever!!! I love the coffee here, that coffee “on tap” is the most delicious coffee I have ever tasted. I am a coffee lover, and this is my favorite place to get coffee. The building is open and industrial looking , with lots of space, and plenty of seating. Even when the line is relatively long, it moves quickly. They have a great pastry case, have some sandwiches, a few other breakfast type options, juices, to go coffee, and water. They also make rum la Colombe rum. The only negative thing I can say about this location is that it can be difficult to find parking. However if you don’t mind a bit of a walk, within a block or two you will find something. The walk is well worth the reward when you arrive (the fabulous coffee that you will buy and drink)!
This is a great coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere. The music is lively but not overbearing, the drinks are excellent, and the employees are friendly and professional.
This cafe was awesome. Last time i visited here with my wife and we had a great experiment . I was amazed with the services they provide. They food they served was super delicious and well cooked. Their price they charged was also competitively low. So finally according me it's a mus recommended place.
Coffees generally range in price from $3 to $4, and is more than worth the money! The staff are patient and friendly, and pretty quick in preparing your order. Even on a busy Friday morning, with a line wrapping around the bar, I only waited about 3 minutes before getting to the cashier.
First time visiting Philadelphia (3AUG19), and my friend who was being kind of a tour guide for us knew I liked coffee. She kept pointing out the major chain ones, and I kept saying that, No, I really wanted a single-origin, light-roasted, bright finish coffee. I found La Colombe on my iPhone and what great luck that it was in the midst of all the historic stuff! The El Salvador that was brewed-up was just what I had hoped for! (Couldn't stay long enough for a pour over, had to hit the scheduled entry time @Constitution Center.)
Nice coffee stop, right outside the liberty bell. Great roast, made with passion.
